RINCON BEACH ESTATES
Rincon Beach Estates is a private, gated community located on "The Lost Coast" of The Republic of Panama. International Living Magazine's April, 2008 issue identified Rincon Beach Estates as one of "Three of the best gated communities in Latin America". Located on the Gulf of Chiriqui and fronting on the Pacific Ocean near the small fishing village of Boca Chica, RBE is accessible by land, sea and air.
Rincon Beach Estates occupies a 200 acre site adjacent to miles of beaches and Pacific Ocean coastline. The Chiriqui National Marine Park, a short boat ride away, is comprised of 25 islands, 19 coral reefs and thousands of acres of ocean waters teeming with an extraordinary diversity of terrestrial and marine life. Many of the islands in the park are covered with lush, tropical vegetation and are home to three species of monkeys, four species of turtles and numerous bird species. Underwater, the reefs are rich with colorful marine life, and humpback and sperm whales, hammerhead sharks, dolphins and schools of giant manta rays are often encountered. Coiba Island National Park and Hannibal Bank, considered by many to be the best sport fishing area in the world are just a one hour boat ride away. With over three miles of ocean frontage, rolling hills with panoramic views, tropical natural surroundings, and proximity to some of the best sport fishing, snorkeling, and diving waters in the world, Rincon Beach Estates is truly a world away from it all.
Rincon Beach Estates has many acres of old growth tropical forests complemented by major areas of reforestation on which African mahogany, Asian teak, and Caribbean pine trees have been planted. There are green areas which have been set aside for parks, roads and trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, an equestrian center with horse boarding available, a boat storage area with a launch ramp and pier, and a boutique hotel - The Boca Chica Plantation Club & Resort - which provides a gourmet restaurant, five star accommodations, and a swimming pool for residents and guests.
Stunning sunrises and majestic sunsets are the norm - and when the sun is gone, there are the thousands of brilliant, twinkling stars with their light uninterrupted by smog or pollution or city lights. Only the moon intrudes on the night and when it is full it is like no moon you have ever seen before, as it lights up the country side from Rincon Beach Estates to Vulcan Baru, the dormant volcano, which lies at the pinnacle of the area of Chiriqui Province referred to as "The Valley of the Moon".
